- The Daejeon Institute of Science and Technology, which was founded in 1940 as one of the leading institutions of higher education in the region, has firmly established itself as a private school representing the central region and as a foundational institute in the local community.
- In addition to variables emerging as mainstream such as single-person households, the decline of the school-age population, homo-hundred, the new network society, the 4th industrial revolution, New Normal, Digital Mind, Pandemic, and other situations that no one has ever experienced and no one predicted are making our career paths and choices difficult.
- However, our institute will foster creative and respectful talents by implementing the founding philosophy of being in awe of the sky, honoring the country, and loving people. As we have done so far, we will select talents hidden in various places in the society to make their potential bloom at Daejeon Institute of Science and Technology. We will study feasible policies for scattered social challenges, and present alternatives without fail.
- The future is up to those who prepare. Our institute is taking the challenge of innovation to establish a platform for fostering experts and developing the community. We will face and reflect on the past, share our vision for the future, and firmly implement our promises for realizing the right society. We will take the lead in creating a more righteous, progressive, and sustainable world.
